Seal of Biliteracy
The Seal of Biliteracy Program recognizes high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages in addition to English. It is a statement of accomplishment for future employers and college admissions.
Please review the flyer for the new qualifications, effective January 1, 2024.
*Note - students can only apply during their senior year.
The seal insignia will be affixed to your diploma and noted on your transcript, indicating that you have been awarded the California State Seal of Biliteracy by the Superintendent.
