★ 39 National titles including International and Grand National Dance Champions

★ 2007-2016 ~ 10 consecutive National titles in the same division; small varsity pom (1st high school team in the history of the NDA Nationals to win 10)

MEET THE DIRECTOR & HEAD COACH

Spiritleader and Dance Department Director

Hollie Johnson; “HJ” Created the Napa High Spiritleaders and implemented the 1st ever Napa High School Dance Department in 1992. She was selected as the “Who’s Who of Top Dance Director’s in the United States” and was featured in the National publication of Dance Spirit Magazine. She also received the NDA 1st ever “Excellence in Leadership” coaches award. Hollie has led her team to 39 National titles in her tenure as a coach.

Spiritleader Head Coach, Dance Department Teacher

Rylee Pippert; “Coach P” a Spiritleader alumni who is a 6 time national dance champion. Rylee went on to earn her dance degree at the University of Hawaii Manoa where she was also a member of their collegiate dance team. Besides the position of Head Coach she has been the teams competition choreographer and lead choreographer in the NHS Dance Department. Coach P is also a lead teacher at The Dance House Napa studio.

NHS has a full coaching staff filled with extremely talented and experienced coaches and world class choreographers who will assist in the training of the Spiritleaders!
